Sennheiser Spectera sits at center of NEP Australia’s audio overhaul
The ever-busy Dave “Chachi” Denes has released two more episodes of his “Chachi Loves Everybody” podcast. (Is he paying Scott Baio royalties?)
Somehow, some way, the Benztown president made time to speak with Heather Cohen, the new president of the talent agency, The Weiss Agency, and syndicated radio show host Edgar “ShoBoy” Sotelo.
Cohen got her start in radio in college radio at WRHU at Hofstra University. She made her way to WOR in New York producing shows and working her way up to assistant program director. She’s been involved with the Alliance for Women in Media, the Gracie Awards and the Broadcasters Foundation of America. Now she reps those she used to produce.
Sotelo tells his story of an immigrant child from Mexico who has made it in radio. He also discusses family and community involvement. Sotelo has won the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for Personality of the Year and has also hosted the award show itself.
