Arbaeah Podcast Network will participate for the first time in the 2025 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, presenting a selection of live podcast episodes and professional workshops. The fair runs from April 26 to May 5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The network’s participation is part of the official “Podcast from Abu Dhabi” program, following an invitation from the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre. Arbaeah will host three live podcast recordings and lead three podcasting workshops focused on storytelling, audience growth and literary content.
The live podcast sessions taking place on the “Podcast from Abu Dhabi” stage in Hall 8 are the following:
- Al-Kholasa: “Weight-loss Injections: A Slim Promise or a Hidden Risk?” hosted by Alaa Diyaa with guest Dr. Azza Ibrahim
- Tarikh Ala Al-Hamesh: “Ibn Sina: Genius of His Time” hosted by Maria Mohammed and Khaled Al-Shahri
- Motawaja: “The Arab Woman’s Image in the Age of Social Media: Technology and Identity” hosted by Mariam Nour with guest Dina Abdelmajid
Workshops will be held in the Business Hub in Hall 9. Those led by Arbaeah contributors are the following:
- “The Art of Podcasting” and “Building and Growing Your Audience,” both led by Ahmed Maher
- “Creating Literary Podcasts,” led by Hassan Faye
Founded in July 2023, Arbaeah Podcast Network has published over 350 episodes across 16 shows, nine of which are currently active. Its content spans wellness, history, entrepreneurship, culture, women’s empowerment and children’s storytelling. The network reports more than 500,000 total listens.
Arbaeah says its broader aim is to support a sustainable ecosystem for Arabic-speaking podcast creators.
Ahmed Maher El-Bahloul, founder of Arbaeah, said, “Arbaeah isn’t just a podcast network — it’s a movement to restore depth, presence and impact to the Arabic voice. Our participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a strong message: podcasting is not a passing trend, it’s a cultural force.”
