Café Nashville relaunches syndicated shows using Radio.Cloud
Medialivre — one of Portugal’s largest media groups — has equipped the studios of its new Lisbon-based station, Correio da Manhã Rádio, with broadcast technology from AEQ.
The media group, formerly known as Cofina, operates several newspapers and magazines as well as the television channel Correio da Manhã TV. The addition of the new radio station expands its multimedia portfolio.
According to AEQ, Medialivre’s technical team selected its systems to equip most of the station’s audio and video facilities. The installation includes mixing consoles, audio codecs and visual radio tools designed for multimedia production workflows.
At the center of the studios is the AEQ Capitol IP digital mixing console. Communications are handled via AEQ Venus4 audio codecs and the AEQ Systel VoIP telephony platform. The installation also incorporates the AEQ VisualRPlus visual radio system, which integrates video production with traditional radio output and supports PTZ camera workflows for online streaming or television-style broadcasts.
Interconnection infrastructure includes AEQ HB02 interface boxes and the AEQ Netbox matrix. According to AEQ, the overall architecture is built on IP networking using Dante-AES67 protocols to enable multichannel audio connectivity across the system.
AEQ says the setup provides Correio da Manhã Rádio with an integrated production environment designed to support modern multimedia workflows and digital distribution formats. The station’s technical services department implemented the project in collaboration with AEQ and its Portuguese partner, Decimagen.
