Summ’it aims to connect audiences through audio storytelling
The London Podcast Festival will return to Kings Place from Sept. 3–13, bringing together podcast creators and audiences for 11 days of live recordings, discussions and performances spanning comedy, film, current affairs, culture and audio drama.
Now in its 11th year, the festival will once again use multiple venues across the London arts center, with selected events also available worldwide via livestream. Organizers say the program reflects podcasting’s continued growth as a global entertainment and storytelling medium while allowing listeners to discover new shows alongside established favorites.
This year’s lineup includes live editions of “Wrong Turns” with Jameela Jamil, “The Empire Film Podcast,” “Life After Prison,” “No Such Thing As A Fish” and, for the first time, a live performance of the show’s audience feedback companion, “Drop Us A Line.” Other featured podcasts include “Wooden Overcoats,” “Beef and Dairy Network Podcast,” “Wrestle Me!” and “Why Are You More Successful Than Me?” with Richard Bacon.

Rebecca Millican, head of artistic planning at Kings Place, said the festival continues to showcase the breadth of the podcasting sector. “Every year the lineup grows more diverse, and that’s exactly the point — there’s a community here for every kind of listener,” Millican said.
The festival will also feature podcasts covering disability, gardening, family entertainment, wrestling and deaf-led storytelling, with ticket prices starting at £13. Selected performances will be streamed globally, allowing audiences outside the U.K. to participate in the festival. Tickets for the first wave of events are now on sale.
