WorldCast Systems and U.S.-based equipment dealer Broadcast Supply Worldwide have teamed up for a signal/program monitoring package using WorldCast’s Kybio system.
A release says the system “allows radio stations to monitor up to 25 devices — including transmitters, STL links, audio codecs, sound processors, modulation monitors, networking equipment, and environmental sensors — through a secure cloud-based dashboard. Stations receive real-time alerts and performance insights, helping engineering teams quickly detect and resolve issues before they impact on-air operations.”
The Kybio system offers equipment agnosticity, “Kybio is designed to integrate with equipment from a wide range of broadcast manufacturers. The platform can monitor devices from most major brands used in radio facilities today, including transmitters, audio processors, codecs, RDS units, monitoring systems and other SNMP-enabled infrastructure, giving stations a single interface to supervise their entire technical environment.”
According to WorldCast, “the goal of the new offer is to simplify infrastructure monitoring for broadcasters while providing an affordable and easy-to-deploy solution.”
The service is available as a monthly subscription starting at US$150 per month, with an optional annual plan available.
WorldCast Systems will be at the NAB Show, Booth C2250.
