Broadcast audio experts 2wcom Systems GmbH is hosting two free training webinars on the advantages and disadvantages of MPX (composite) over IP and over SAT.
The sessions, which are limited to only 30 people per session, are aimed at technical purchasers, project managers, semi-technical and technical personnel.
MPX, or composite multiplex signals, are signals which are sent to the transmitter site. 2wcom Systems GmbH has a range of MPX products which create an MPX signal directly in the studio to make sound processing easier.
2wcom Systems GmbH says that while satellite has always been reliable, IP networks have improved to a state where they offer the same reliability. In addition, they enable bidirectional communication to provide further benefits such as SRT, RIST and Live Listening that are not available on satellite-only distributions.
