Cumulus Media’s Sommer Frisk recognized by Ventura Chamber of Commerce
DEVA Broadcast’s DB6410 is an all-digital, DSP-based design aimed at ultralow latency. Onboard are a four-band sound processor with fidelity control, a four-band parametric EQ, advanced bass and treble controls, a four-band limiter, an FM limiter with advanced distortion and pre-emphasis control, an HD lookahead limiter, and an RDS/RDBS encoder. Plus, there’s a wideband AGC with “Intelligent Gating.”
The stereo encoder “ensures precise MPX signals with advanced peak control and two independently configurable composite MPX outputs,” according to DEVA.
DEVA adds, “The DB6410 fully supports AES67 audio sources, making it highly versatile and capable of seamless integration into modern audio environments.”
In addition, a silence detector, SD card slot and onboard MP3 player provide for automatic program backup in the event of signal loss. Notifications can be sent via email and SNMP.
It can be operated remotely via a browser interface, and is AES67-compatible, but can also process analog audio.
