The media company remained in the first position on the Top Sales Networks Report for July with 55 million Average Weekly Downloads, an 83% increase on the same period in 2021 when Stitcher Media recorded 30 million Average Weekly Downloads.
NPR came in at the second spot with 30.6 million Average Weekly Downloads and 6.2 million Average Weekly Users, followed by Wondery in third position with 30.2 million Average Weekly Downloads and 7.5 million Average Weekly Users.
The top three podcasts based on downloads are the same as June with “The Ben Shapiro” Show at number one, “NPR News Now” at number two, and “Crime Junkie” at number three. In total there were 222 million average weekly downloads for the top 20 publishers.
Users can now track podcast numbers by downloads and by users using Triton’s new interactive podcast reports, across multiple territories, including Australia, U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Netherlands and LATAM.
