In the latest “2 Mins of Tech” video from IBC2026 in Amsterdam, Susan Larkin, president and CEO of RCS, discusses how the broadcast software company combines cloud development with the reliability stations expect from critical systems. RCS supplies broadcasters in more than 120 countries.
Larkin highlights ZettaCloud, the company’s cloud-native radio playout system, and SelectorCloud, its browser-based music scheduling platform. She says offering both functions as cloud-native products sets RCS apart, while on-premises and hybrid options allow stations to move toward the cloud at their own pace.
AI capabilities now extend across the RCS product range as the company continues to update its scheduling, playout and other broadcast tools. Larkin argues that broadcasters look to RCS for an indication of where radio technology is heading, making future requirements a continuing focus for its development team.
