Rich history of radio
Dennis Green, co-chair of the Radio Hall of Fame, said the recognition was about ensuring these figures are remembered. “These iconic broadcasters made a lasting impact on the industry, and we honor them and their contributions to the rich history of radio.”
Kraig Kitchin, also co-chair, added, “Each of these individuals contributed to the growth and vibrancy of our radio industry and is worthy of induction. I’m thrilled to see recognition for their talents and efforts and heartened that their family, friends and colleagues can witness this well-deserved honor.”
The Radio Hall of Fame was established in 1988 by the Emerson Radio Corporation and has been administered by the Museum of Broadcast Communications since 1991. The museum, founded in 1982, preserves and presents historic and contemporary U.S. radio and television content, and is a registered non-profit organization.
