BBC World Service launches emergency radio program for Iran audiences
M&I Broadcast Services is releasing its OmniPlayer 3 automation suite in the United States, according to a release. OmniPlayer is already available in many European markets, with Netherlands being a particular strength.
U.S. Sales Lead for M&I Broadcast Services Robert Davis said, “We’re excited to bring this powerhouse to the U.S. Our broadcasters are hungry for tools to streamline workflows, future-proof their operations, and OmniPlayer integrates seamlessly. Early pilots are already underway, and we’re inviting select partners to join us on the ground floor.”
The release points to OmniPlayer 3 strengths: SmartTrack audio editor “that simplifies audio preparation for broadcast, web, apps, and social media, allowing quick edits and seamless distribution”; scalable automation for “small independent stations to large networks”; integration that “embraces modern technologies like GPIO over IP, integrating effortlessly with third-party hardware and consoles such as DHD, Arrakis, Axia, and Wheatstone”; multiplatform publishing that “automates content delivery across radio, podcasts, social media, and digital streams”; and “Friendliness: Built for stability in high-demand environments, with an interface that requires minimal training to get up and running.”
M&I OmniPlayer is available immediately.
