M6 Distribution Digital has selected Ad Insertion Platform to enable dynamic ad insertion into its live streaming radio channels.
Swiss-based AIP says its patented DAIConnect platform enables dynamic and personalized insertion of radio advertising for HLS and Mpeg-DASH protocols. AIP explains this allows M6 to offer its listeners a tailored radio advertising experience, while generating revenue from its content.
“We can now serve ads to our listeners no matter the player platform without any client specific integration and provide a seamless user experience, thanks to the AIP Ad break composer,” said Valery Gerfaud, CEO of M6 Distribution Digital. “The system manages the entire creation of the ad break in a pure radio listening environment,” he added.
“Dynamic ad insertion presents many opportunities for radio. It combines the reach, value and impact of traditional radio with the targetability, scalability and analytics of digital,” said Laurent Potesta, CEO, AIP. “This means high quality and real-time ad insertion while providing a fully synchronized delivery of dynamic ad break management with very specific audio only challenges.”
M6 Distribution Digital is a subsidiary of the French multimedia Groupe M6.
