The Podcast Show, the premier international festival focusing on the podcasting industry, will be held in London at the Business Design Centre, Islington, May 22-23. This event stands as a global celebration and platform for the podcasting sector.

As a global central hub for the podcast community, The Podcast Show connects creators, brands, and industry leaders to discuss and shape the future of podcasting.

The event will feature key figures such as Will Pearson, president of iHeartPodcasts, and Carrie Lieberman, COO, alongside Alison Lomax, managing director of YouTube UK & Ireland, Richard Knight, director of audio at BBC Studios, Ross Adams, CEO of Acast, and Tiffany Ashitey, managing director of The Americas at Acast, among others.

These industry leaders will share their global insights through keynote addresses, panel discussions, and sessions covering topics from AI’s impact to marketing strategies in the podcasting realm.

Highlighting the event, Will Pearson will deliver the keynote, “The State of Podcasting,” on the first day, discussing the industry’s growth, audience trends, advertising insights, and upcoming trends. Alison Lomax will explore YouTube’s role for podcasters and creators, featuring a special guest to talk about podcasts on YouTube.

Richard Knight will make his debut public speech since becoming director of audio at BBC Studios.

The schedule includes sessions offering international perspectives such as “A Transatlantic View” by Carrie Lieberman, Tiffany Ashitey, and Steve Ackerman, “How Podcast Advertising Enhances the $250 Billion Global Creator Economy” by Ross Adams and Dan Fierman, “Podcasts: Asia’s New Media Habit” by Timi Siytangco, and “Tuning into 550 million listeners” focusing on the Spanish language podcast market by Nuria Net, Lory Martinez, and Marcus Hurst.

The event will also host The Podcast Show Official Party on May 22, featuring DJ Pete Tong. Spreaker and Triton Digital will provide complimentary drinks. The party is exclusive to Platinum Pass holders, who must RSVP to attend.
