The DRM Consortium has disclosed plans for the 2026 general assembly, scheduled for May 5–6, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event will be held at the headquarters of Indonesian national broadcaster Radio Republik Indonesia, a DRM partner.
May 5 will center around an “Open Seminar for all members and invited VIP guests. This will include updates on latest developments in Indonesia, and from DRM, demos of dual receiver, other receiving solutions, and other component of the broadcast chain. This will be an opportunity to get the latest, ask questions and network.”
May 6 will be dedicated to the general assembly session, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the Steering Board meeting, 1 to 3 p.m.
The announcement said, “As 2026 is an election year, members will elect the Steering Board, the Consortium’s main leadership body, along with the TC Chair, the Chair, and other key positions. Voting is open to members only, so we encourage you to ensure your membership status and payments are up to date.”
It added, “we welcome expressions of interest from members who would like to contribute to the GA program whether by showcasing new products, services, or innovations, or by supporting the event in other practical ways.
