
Large station group owner Beasley Media Group and the University of South Florida, based in Tampa, Fla., have announced an agreement to whit that Beasley’s WRBQ(FM) will be the school’s football team’s flagship station for the 2025–26 season. WRBQ is part of Beasley’s Tampa Bay cluster.
The agreement also provides for football content to play be used on other cluster properties — WLLD(FM), WPBB(FM), WQYK(FM), WYUU and WYUU(HD2) along with WJBR(AM).
Beasley Media Group, Tampa, Vice President and Market Manager Ron deCastro said, “We’re proud to team up with USF Athletics to deliver Bulls Football on Q105 [WRBQ], one of the most iconic signals in Tampa Bay. USF Interim Vice President of Athletics Jay Stroman added, “This exciting partnership with Beasley Media Group achieves both — introducing a groundbreaking Spanish-language broadcast and leveraging one of the Bay area’s most powerful, legacy FM signals to bring Bulls football to fans across the region.”
