RadioMan Lamppu is a mobile contribution tool for broadcasters to create live, localized content outside the studio, according to developer Jutel. Lamppu enables reporters, presenters, commentators and contributors to participate in broadcasts directly from their mobile devices, without requiring dedicated contribution hardware.
Available for iOS and Android devices, the Lamppu mobile app lets contributors deliver live reports, interviews, sports commentary and regional content from virtually any location. Because contributors use their mobile devices, deployment is quick and requires minimal technical setup. Integration with RadioMan allows live and recorded contributions to be inserted directly into playlists, making them a seamless part of automated broadcast workflows.
By freeing contributors from fixed studio locations, Lamppu makes it easier for broadcasters to expand local programming, respond quickly to breaking stories, and bring more live content into their schedules.
For regional broadcasters, Lamppu enables the insertion of localized content into national broadcasts or the creation of fully local programming. The company adds that regional news bulletins can be produced remotely and incorporated into automated workflows, helping broadcasters maintain a strong local presence while making efficient use of existing resources.
