RCS GSelector v4.9 Offers Variable Clocks

RCS provides software for radio stations, offering integrated solutions for the technological demands of today’s radio stations. Its music scheduling software, GSelector, released a new version with an updated Clock feature. v.4.9 lets users define any quantity of clocks — from one minute to 24 hours.

The benefit, said RCS, is that it allows for programming with clocks that are based on the actual programming grid. Instead of assignments around a fixed, one-hour clock, users have the option to make a clock the exact length of a show, whether it is 15 minutes or 4 hours.

Creating variable clocks is optional, noted RCS — the new feature is an addition to existing Clock workflows.

The v.4.9 update also includes a Song & Link override option, which lets users substitute in a different song or link.
