RadioDNS Celebrates Strength With a New Look

RadioDNS is celebrating its highest ever number of members. This is important because the organization relies on its members to progress the advancement of hybrid radio. Despite a very challenging 2020 and 2021, it now has more members than ever before.

“There’s a growing recognition that implementing standards accelerates the growth of hybrid radio while reducing the costs of implementing it,” says Nick Piggott, project director of RadioDNS. “If we can agree on technology, we can still allow space to compete with content.”

For current RadioDNS steering board chair David Layer, this is an important time for broadcasters to shape technical standards for hybrid radio that the industry will rely upon for years to come. “It’s gratifying to see that broadcasters around the world are recognizing the value RadioDNS brings to the hybrid radio space.”

To celebrate this milestone, RadioDNS has launched a new look and revamped its website.
