Bethel Radio, a cultural, religious, educational radio station in Lima, Peru, has recently added Lawo equipment in an upgrade and to prepare for future eventualities.
Top of the list is a Lawo diamond 12-fader broadcast mixer. Supporting the diamond is a Lawo Power Core Engine for mixing, routing and processing duties. In addition a Power Core AIOX rackmounted input/output 64-channel expansion frame was added. Bethel Radio clearly has ambitious plans.

As part of the Bethel Cultural Association the station has a sister TV station. The new Lawo equipment is video-friendly.
Bethel Radio Technical Director Abel Cuerto said, “We are delighted to collaborate with Lawo in modernizing our broadcast facilities… Lawo provides our radio station with the tools we need to excel in today’s dynamic media landscape and to broadcast the content and our messages in Peru and worldwide.”
Lawo’s partner in Peru, Video Broadcast, handled the details. CEO Gustavo Reategui said, “With the integration of Lawo’s IP-based broadcast solutions, Bethel Radio will be able to utilize the expanded capabilities to serve its national and international community even better.”
