NeoGroupe used the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas to spotlight NeoSIP, with Philippe Halin, president of the France-based company, outlining how the system is designed to support IP-based audio distribution in broadcast environments.
In a “2 Minutes of Tech” interview, Halin focuses on NeoSIP as a SIP-based solution for transporting high-quality audio over IP networks. He indicates that the approach allows broadcasters to manage contribution and distribution workflows using standard network infrastructure rather than dedicated broadcast links.
Halin positions NeoSIP as part of NeoGroupe’s broader move toward software-driven systems, noting its role in enabling more flexible and scalable deployment across studio and remote production scenarios.
The interview also points to the use of established IP protocols to support interoperability, which Halin suggests can simplify integration with existing broadcast and telecom systems.
The demonstration reflects wider industry movement toward IP-native workflows, where audio transport, control and routing can be handled across standard networks, reducing reliance on fixed, hardware-based infrastructure.
