NAB Show New York gives radio buyers a hands-on marketplace

NAB Show New York will bring radio broadcasters and media technology suppliers together Oct. 21-22, with exhibitors covering transmission, automation, monitoring and integrated workflows. The event at New York’s Javits Center will feature about 250 companies, including at least 37 first-time exhibitors. About 23% of participants are based outside the United States.

Radio broadcasters can explore systems from suppliers including GatesAir, Telos Alliance, WideOrbit, RCS, Wheatstone, EON Media, Comrex and Broadcast Electronics. The show’s broader marketplace connects broadcast infrastructure with production, IT, streaming and cloud technologies, reflecting how media organizations are linking content creation and distribution across platforms.

“The show floor is a real-time look at where media organizations are investing and where technology is heading,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president of Global Connections and Events at the National Association of Broadcasters, the U.S. trade association that produces the event. She said the show gives buyers a chance to compare solutions and speak directly with the companies developing them.

One of the of sessions to note is “Award-Winning Audio: Inside the 2026 NAB Marconi Podcast Finalists,”on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 11.15–11.45 a.m. The session features the creators behind award-winning podcasts such as “Uinta Triangle” (Bonneville International), “Purple Daily” (Hubbard Radio), and “The Install with Greg Cosell” (Cumulus Media). You can find the details here.

The event will also offer about 64 hours of educational programming. Broadcasters account for 15% of the expected buyer audience, while buyers overall are projected to make up 80% of attendees.
