Radio France, France’s public broadcaster, has added DAB+ distribution to its children’s online radio station, “Mon petit France Inter.” The station launched on Radio France’s website and app in October 2025 and has since attracted more than 3 million listens.
The new DAB+ service offers stories, fiction, music, science and news for children, with programs from across Radio France’s stations. Families can still listen live on the broadcaster’s website and app. The programming also includes content for very young children previously carried by “Mon tout petit France Inter.”
Sibyle Veil, Radio France’s president and CEO, said the DAB+ launch would make the service easier for families to access at home and in the car. “This new distribution allows us to offer families throughout France a secure space for discovery, easy to access in the car and at home,” she said.
Radio France has added new content alongside the DAB+ launch, including a morning program featuring Céline Da Costa and “Badaboum,” a new show hosted by Marine Baousson. The broadcaster also plans new concerts and new seasons of existing series.
