Thirteen years after Belgium’s Flemish state broadcaster VRT’s youth-oriented station MNM introduced “Music and More” as a tagline, the station management has decided to do a makeover. The result is a new logo and tagline — “Make Life Sing” — and a fresh morning drive and evening show host line-up, starting Sept. 2.
“The new styling facilitates MNM’s evolution in the digital world,” said Steven Lemmens, MNM’s channel manager, adding that both the logo and station imaging were tailor-made and future-proof for the wide variety of the digital platforms it uses. “The logo is new, the colors are different and the tagline was changed, but the heart of MNM remains the same — being close to our listeners with the greatest hits and the best presenters. Put on your radio and Make Life Sing!”
The station’s 6–9 a.m. morning drive ‘De ochtendshow’ welcomes the dynamic trio of Imane Boudadi, Sander Gillis and Maureen Vanherberghen as its hosts. “I’m looking forward to starting this new adventure,” enthused Gillis, who switches from his evening show. “I’ve been dreaming for many years of hosting the morning show; it’s a great opportunity. We’ll make a great team to bring a perfect mix of hot news and entertainment.”
Presenter Kawtar Ehlalouch will host the evening traffic show ‘Club Kawtar’ and invite a broad audience — “from truckers to students” — to join her club, with daily new studio guests.
