Pardon the pun attempt, broadcast equipment maker Lawo used the IBC show to release a new member of the crystal line of consoles to introduce Clear, a software console for on-air duties (and more).
Designed to be simple and work out of the box, Lawo says, “crystal Clear offers a Self-Op view designed for radio hosts with minimal technical background, and a Broadcast Engineer view for those requiring advanced functionality and control.”
But, the company insists, it has power and features, “Its Automation Assistant mode allows producers and hosts to automate routine tasks while focusing on creating dynamic and engaging programming: only the necessary controls are displayed, reducing distractions and promoting smooth, natural interaction during live broadcasts.”
A release adds, “As radio production continues to shift toward remote and decentralized workflows, crystal Clear perfectly meets the demands of broadcasters working outside traditional studio environments. From home studios to mobile setups to live broadcasts on the go, crystal Clear provides unmatched flexibility and agility. Its modular design supports both fixed installations and ad-hoc productions, enabling radio stations to create compelling content from virtually anywhere.”
