Broadcast Technology Roadshow hits Glasgow

Britain’s Broadcast Technology Roadshow reaches Glasgow on May 18.

The idea for the roadshow dates back to just after the 2019 International Broadcasting Convention. A small group of non-competing United Kingdom-based broadcast technology companies clubbed together to hold a series of roadshows to let the large cohort of the regular technology users unable to get to the major shows see their latest products first-hand.

The group comprises Artel, Broadcast Radio, Cedar Audio, Sonifex, Vortex Communications and Angry Audio.

Artel is a global supplier of broadcast-quality media transport solutions for direct fiber, IP and managed optical networks.

Broadcast Radio combines software and hardware solutions for radio broadcasters of all types and sizes.

Sonifex manufactures audio products for AV, installed sound and broadcast radio and TV.

Vortex Communications has manufactured and supplied video and audio equipment to broadcasters and system builders worldwide since 1987.

Angry Audio specializes in problem-solving products for radio broadcasting studios.

Cedar specializes in audio restoration, noise suppression and speech enhancement technology.

The companies will showcase their latest products at the Hilton Garden Inn from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and requires no registration.
