Lighting contractor Brightline is retrofitting the Seacrest Studios operating at 14 children’s hospitals across the United States.
The most recent project was at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital.
Brightline specializes in media-friendly lighting for broadcasters, companies and organizations.
According to a release, Brightline aimed for a clean look with only ceiling-installed overhead lighting to accommodate open spaces and maximum maneuverability for wheelchairs and gurneys in the studios. Another consideration was nearby lighting and large exterior windows allowing in sunlight.

Ryan Seacrest Foundation Vice President of Business Development and Operations Nicole Mead said, “It makes all the difference in the content produced, both live content and photography and videography to be published. We have noticed an immense difference in the quality of our content since installing the Brightline lighting packages.”
The Seacrest Studios are part of a pediatric hospital’s closed-circuit media network and provide a media studio for radio/TV production. Hospital patients are encouraged to participate in the production. They are funded by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Two more studios are under construction.
