Radio Extra de Belo Horizonte RF Supervisor Paulo Henrique Souza with new Nautel GV20 FM transmitter

Radio Light FM in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, recently got a pair of Nautel GV FM transmitters. The station recently received a new broadcast classification for which a Nautel GV20 and a GV60 were obtained.

These aren’t the first Nautel transmitters for the broadcasting company. Radio Extra de Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Vice President Claudio Carneiro said, “[W]e have been working with Nautel since 1997, and have purchased many AM and FM transmitters from them for other stations under our responsibility… “With the installation of the new transmitters, we gained a lot in range and efficiency.”

Nautel Regional Sales Manager, Latin America and Caribbean, Carlos Avila Pereira was the liaison.

Radio Extra de Belo Horizonte RF Supervisor Paulo Henrique Souza (see picture) along with audio technician Higor Almeida worked on the installation.
