Bauer Media Audio Portugal launches audioXi

AudioXi

With digital audio advertising spend in Europe forecast to reach €1.5 billion in 2023, Bauer Media Audio Portugal has launched audioXi, Portugal’s largest digital audio advertising network.

audioXi is a full-service audio exchange which Bauer says brings together leading publishers from around the world. The company claims to deliver an average listen-through rate of over 90% on 30 second audio ads, and the platform allows buyers to segment audiences based on metrics including geography, device type, weather, age, gender and content format.

According to the company, audioXi launches with inventory from more than 30 different audio publishers across digital radio, music streaming and podcasting, reaching an audience of over 50 million monthly audio impressions. This includes radio brands like Radio Commercial, M80 and Cidade FM, podcast services such as Spreaker and AudioBoom, music streaming services like Deezer and radio aggregators such as TuneIn via TargetSpot, with TuneIn being exclusively represented by audioXi.

audioXi has already been operating in Ireland for several years. Both audioXi businesses use the same technology platform and join Octave Audio in the UK and Audiostream in the Nordics as part of Bauer Media Audio’s offering for advertisers.

Richard Dawkins, president of Audio, Bauer Media Group, commented “audioXi builds on the success of our digital audio sales products in our other markets across Europe, and with this latest launch, we’re able to leverage our experience and knowledge to pioneer digital audio in Portugal.”
