Bauer Media Audio launches Eurosong Radio

Bauer Media Eurosong Radio

Bauer Media Audio has launched Eurosong Radio, a pop-up station dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest. The station went on air on May 2.

At the launch, Tobias Nielsen, Bauer Media Audio’s director of premium projects, said, “The Eurovision Song Contest unites audiences across Europe to celebrate a shared love of music, and bring a sense of togetherness. Eurosong will create a sense of community and provide everything the song contest fans want, joy, entertainment and Eurosongs!”

Eurosong Radio broadcasts across six of Bauer Media Audio’s markets — the U.K., Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland — and will feature a diverse playlist that provides what the group describes as “the essential soundtrack for all Eurovision Fans.” Paying tribute to over 50 years of the iconic show, listeners can expect to hear tracks from artists like Buck’s Fizz, Loreen and Conchita Wurst and the latest songs from this year’s hopefuls. The station will also feature exclusive content from past acts — Sam Ryder, The Olsen Brothers, Katrina & The Waves and others will introduce their favorite Eurovision songs.

The station broadcasts ad-free on Bauer Media Audio’s premium subscription radio platform in the UK, Denmark, Finland, and Norway and free-to-air across digital and online in Sweden and Ireland.
