Bauer Media Audio has announced Lucy Thomas as its new chief financial and operating officer. Thomas, who will officially join Bauer on May 1, 2023, is a highly experienced media, finance and data specialist. She has been with Sky since 2000, progressing through a range of senior management roles before becoming group chief data officer in 2019. In her new role, she will report to Anna Sedgley, CFO of Bauer Media Group, and Richard Dawkins, president of the Audio Business Area.
Dawkins says, “Lucy is a perfect match as she has extensive experience across finance, commercial and data roles and is highly knowledgeable about media and technology. This broad skillset will give a further edge to our audio strategy. I look forward to working with her to deliver our roadmap for the future.” Sedgley adds, “I first worked with Lucy in 2000, and I could not be more excited to be working with her again. Lucy is very experienced in implementing transformation and has a passion for building and motivating high-performing and diverse teams.”
