AdLarge says it has acquired the assets of Inlet Media, a technology platform it has used for nearly two years to support onboarding, distribution and monetization of audio and video content across its podcast and creator workflows.
As part of the transaction, Patrick Cedrowski, co-founder of Inlet Media, has been appointed chief technology officer of AdLarge and its fwd.network, marking the company’s first CTO appointment. Brian Egan, also a co-founder of Inlet Media, has been named vice president and head of product, with responsibility for product strategy and execution across AdLarge’s creator and advertiser technology platforms.
AdLarge said the Inlet platform is already deeply integrated into its infrastructure, supporting the onboarding, distribution and monetization of audio, video and other multimedia content. The company said bringing the technology in-house will allow it to further develop and scale those capabilities across its existing workflows.
Solving real-world problems
“Bringing Inlet’s technology in-house will enable us to develop it in a more integrated way,” Cedrowski said. “Now we can accelerate innovation, scale faster and build a more connected, data-driven ecosystem for creators and advertisers.”
Egan said the acquisition formalizes technology that was designed to address practical workflow challenges. “Inlet was built to solve real-world problems in content onboarding, monetization and workflow efficiency, and seeing that technology become a core pillar of AdLarge and the fwd. network is incredibly rewarding,” he said.
Cathy Csukas, CEO of AdLarge and the fwd. network, said the move aligns with the company’s broader investment in technology and AI-enabled tools. “By owning and evolving this technology together, we are building a stronger, more scalable future for our creators, our brand partners and our entire ecosystem,” she said.
