Yellowtec to release new on-air controller

Yellowtec has announced the upcoming release of the hush on-air controller, which the company says is the easiest way to control on-air signaling professionally.

The company released two versions of hush on May 22: hush and hush+. The hush offers extensive features for controlling on-air signaling, while the hush+ has additional mic control functions, including a mute function and 12dB up to 75dB preamplification.

Yellowtec developed the hush and hush+ as a plug ‘n’ play solution to fit any Yellowtec m!ka mic arm with an on-air indicator and to control the LED signal of the litt signaling device

The company says that the preamp in the hush+ is the ideal solution for microphones with a low sensitivity needing amplification ahead of the mixer. Users can adjust the mic gain with the hush app from 12dB up to 75dB at -129dB input-referred noise. They can also activate or deactivate phantom power and the high-pass filter to remove unwanted rumble.

The hush has five modes for various applications, such as live streaming, audio production and broadcast. Users can switch between modes via Yellowtec’s hush remote, GPIs, USB-HID, USB-MIDI or an external MIDI-interface.
