WorldCast launches Virtual ScriptEasy

WorldCast Systems has launched Virtual ScriptEasy, a SaaS version of its ScriptEasy facility control software.

The original ScriptEasy, available for decades and used by broadcasters worldwide, creates “smart” sites and automatically corrects any critical errors that affect operations. WorldCast Systems includes it on most of its equipment, such as Audemat products and its APT codecs.

Virtual ScriptEasy features an intuitive graphic scripting interface that includes features such as logic operators, live user actions, timers and complex alarms. It enables users to create autonomous sites and bring intelligent monitoring and control to network scale. The Masterview module allows users to create customized dashboards, alarms, readings and actions.

Bringing intelligence to the sites or the network increases the services’ availability and reduces maintenance costs. According to the company, Virtual ScriptEasy can also quickly evolve as needed and is highly scalable.

With Virtual ScriptEasy, WorldCast has met the growing demand for less hardware, less maintenance and 24/7 operations as broadcasters look for ways to reduce operating costs and increase revenue. The new software is also in line with the company’s strategy to provide new virtualized solutions. WorldCast says users can integrate Virtual ScriptEasy with its other virtual products: Virtual APT IP codecs, Virtual SureStream and its Kybio Media end-to-end network management system.

WorldCast will showcase Virtual ScriptEasy at IBC2022 at their booth 8.C58.
