Wheatstone to profile AoIP offering at IBC2022

Wheatstone will add more routable audio tools and elements to the IBC2022 native AoIP offering with its power Blade 4 I/O unit and new GSX console surface for its WheatNet-IP Intelligent Audio Network.

Blade 4 is Wheatstone’s fourth generation WheatNet-IP I/O unit that includes routable audio processing, utility mixers, onboard software apps and OPUS, MP3 and AAC codecs.

The GSX console surface is Wheatstone’s latest fully reprogrammable AoIP console combining soft controls with a tactile surface and touchscreen interface.

Both add to the complete WheatNet-IP intelligent ecosystem of AoIP studio elements and third-party technology partners, which includes consoles and virtual interfaces to routable audio codecs, EQ dynamics, mixing, stream provisioning and scripting tools.

This IBC show will also be a first for Wheatstone’s MP-532 multipurpose FM/AM/streaming audio processor.

Wheatstone says the MP-532 introduces new algorithms to produce even deeper lows, detailed highs and a warm and present midrange that have not been possible from an audio processor until now.

The MP-532 is a multipurpose processor for FM, AM and streaming and includes RDS, multiplex power controller and WheatNet-IP audio network interface.

Wheatstone will be at stand 8.C91 at IBC2022, where it will also demo its new Layers software suite that runs on most commodity servers for adding new studios, consolidating stations and backing up entire broadcast suites.
