Wheatstone is extending its support for broadcasters with remote-in technical services, designed to provide expertise without the need for on-site visits. The services are billed by the hour and cover commissioning, training and on-demand network support.
Wheatstone says its engineers can remotely configure WheatNet IP audio networking systems, provide training directly on customer equipment, and troubleshoot or expand studio networks via a secure IP connection.
The company notes that its team includes John Davis, with over 20 years of experience in AoIP, Trey Bryant, former chief engineer at Curtis Media and Cumulus, and Steve Walker, former assistant chief engineer at Radio One. They are also part of Wheatstone’s 24/7 support line.
Wheatstone adds that the service is aimed at local engineers managing inherited WheatNet IP systems or managers launching facilities without travel budgets. The remote-in services complement Wheatstone’s Advantage support plan and its online Support Center.
