Wheatstone adds folder sharing to VoxPro

Wheatstone has announced that the latest version of its flagship VoxPro digital audio editing system — v7.1 — now has a “Common” folder that any user on a network system can access. The folder is accessible via the Folders drop-down menu.

The feature makes it easy to share audio files common to all day-parts, such as station imaging, promos and contests. Each VoxPro on a radio station’s station LAN has its own Common folder, and all the Common folders are accessible to all its connected VoxPro machines.

This means radio station staff don’t have to use a third-party file hosting service such as Dropbox to access shared audio files.

VoxPro v7.1 also features smarter hotkeys, customizable shortcuts and improved file-naming and importing functions, and is a free upgrade with every v7 license.
