Virtual Radio TechCon 2021 Is Nov. 29

Radio and audio industry technical and engineering conference Radio TechCon is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 29, 2021. Organizers say that due to ongoing uncertainty with the pandemic, the event will be virtual, as it was in 2020.

The one-day conference will look at the technical challenges and opportunities facing the radio and audio industry as well as celebrate technical achievements.

“Radio TechCon is vital for ensuring that the technical industry in radio and audio is able to come together to share ideas, learn and celebrate successes during these complex times,” said Aradhna Tayal from organizer TBC Media Ltd. “In consultation with the technical community, we have made the decision to hold a virtual event in order to ensure everyone feels able to join the conference and enjoy the full benefits of Radio TechCon 2021.”

More details about the event will be available soon, including information on ticketing, sessions and the virtual platform. In the meantime, the Radio TechCon team is releasing videos from the 2020 event.

Sponsored by Broadcast Bionics, they will post regularly over the coming months and are free to watch. The first two — “Watt Now? Watt If? The Hidden Power of Radio,” and “Multirack” — are currently available, along with catch-up videos from the 2019 in-person event.
