The Telos Alliance will present the debut of the Axia Pulsar console at the NAB Show.

According to the announcement, “Pulsar is a compact mixing surface designed for situations where a hardware console is preferred but space is limited, such as smaller studios, newsrooms, sports venues, and remote broadcasts. The main Pulsar surface has eight motorized faders and a touchscreen-based monitor section; the console can be expanded up to 16 faders with the optional eight-channel expansion unit, which can be joined to the main surface or installed in a split configuration.”

Naturally there is a remote operation app, Pulsar Soft.

Senior Project Manager Luca La Rosa explained, “In designing Axia Pulsar, we listened to feedback from clients who wanted a compact console for smaller applications that was easy to install and configure. But of course, cutting corners on audio quality, features, and performance was out of the question. So we looked to our award-winning Axia Quasar XR and SR flagship consoles for inspiration!”

Senior Vice President of Audio Production Cam Eicher added, “The small console landscape has changed significantly in the past several years, and while many customers are drawn to virtualized solutions, there is still a strong demand for a compact but highly performant hardware mixer.”

Pulsar can be seen at the Telos Alliance booth, C1819.
