GatesAir says the new Maxiva XTK exciter combines increased processing capacity with sophisticated Adaptive Correction techniques to deliver optimal signal quality across a range of RF amplifier configurations, ensuring reliable, high-performance operation for today’s broadcast environments, including DAB/DAB+ radio and global DTV standards. The Maxiva XTK comes standard within GatesAir’s latest high-efficiency DAB Radio and TV transmitter models, including liquid-cooled transmitter models introduced at IBC2026.
As with the globally installed first-generation Maxiva XTE exciter, the XTK’s software-defined architecture optimizes signal performance and accelerates the transition between digital standards via firmware updates in the field. Its modular architecture is also designed to support optional internal satellite and RF input capabilities, among other future enhancements.
