ERF Medien e.V. is a Christian media organization based in Wetzlar, Germany. It operates ERF Plus, a 24-hour DAB+ radio station broadcasting across central Europe.
To ensure signal quality across the DAB+ network, ERF Plus implemented the Inovonics Sofia 563 DAB+ Site Streamer as a critical monitoring solution. The Sofia 563 enables the engineering team to verify multiple parameters in real time — carrier and modulation integrity, metadata accuracy and slideshow transmission quality. Beyond monitoring, the device generates an internal stream from the off-air signal, providing the entire media house with access to what listeners actually receive.
