Tech Focus: DEVA Broadcast says that by combining the compact 1/3-RU form of the DEVA DB90 and some of the most vital features of the DEVA DB9000 line in a single product, the DB910 IP codec will meet the requirements of the most demanding broadcasters.
A complete duplex solution, DB910 allows users to send and receive audio simultaneously while guaranteeing fast and easy monitoring of the signal fed to the transmitter. Where two-way transmission is not required, DB910 may be used as a decoder, being fully compatible with other DEVA IP audio codecs. The powerful DSP processor guarantees real-time audio encoding/decoding into a high-quality, configurable format.
As an addition, the DB910 supports several IP audio sources and a built-in MP3 backup audio player, hence allowing audio broadcasting without interruptions in case of audio loss.
