SwissRadioDay26 brought 329 radio and audio professionals to the Kaufleuten venue in Zurich on Aug. 27, while another 267 followed the program online. The combined attendance reached 596 people across the on-site and digital event. SwissRadioDay has brought together representatives from Switzerland’s different language regions since 1999 to discuss radio’s technical, commercial and editorial development.
The program covered artificial intelligence, audience measurement, programmatic advertising, audio marketing and podcast monetization. Sessions also explored how radio can engage younger audiences, develop new audio talent, strengthen Swiss music and create successful new formats. Swiss Federal Councilor Albert Rösti joined Maria Victoria Haas for a discussion about radio’s future and Switzerland’s media policy challenges.
Organizers have published an online photo gallery capturing speakers, sessions and networking during the event. They have also opened a short SRD26 feedback survey to help shape the next SwissRadioDay. The event thanked its speakers, partners, exhibitors and participants for supporting this year’s program.
