Spotwise launches aOS for autonomous media workflows

Spotwise has launched aOS, an AI-based operating system that uses advertising intelligence to execute multistep workflows across radio, television and podcasting. The Riga, Latvia-based company developed the platform from its real-time advertising monitoring service, which tracks broadcast advertising in 14 countries. Rather than limiting the data to dashboards and reports, aOS can use it to complete related tasks automatically.

Users give the platform’s AI assistant, Spotty, an instruction in plain language and specify the required outcome. For example, a broadcaster could ask it to identify new advertisers appearing on competing stations each week and find the relevant decision-makers. The system can then score and segment the advertisers, enrich contact information, draft outreach in the user’s preferred voice, and synchronize the results with a customer relationship management platform or nurture sequence.

Users can turn an instruction into a permanent workflow that runs repeatedly without further input. Spotwise says aOS can support tasks including campaign planning, agency share tracking, trend forecasting, creative research and sales-pitch preparation. Roberts Levics, CEO and co-founder of Spotwise, pointed to the distinction between presenting information and acting on it. “The data was just the beginning. Broadcast generates more signal than any team can use, and most tools stop at showing it to you. We start where they stop, turning that signal into work that gets done,” he said.

Spotwise provides access to its data and workflows through an open application programming interface and a Model Context Protocol server. MCP is a technical standard that allows AI assistants and agents to connect with external data sources and software tools. Broadcasters, agencies and advertisers can therefore integrate aOS with their existing systems rather than working exclusively within the Spotwise interface.

Spotwise customers can access aOS from July 29. The company will demonstrate the platform at IBC2026 in Amsterdam, Sept. 11–14, on stand 14.FT2 in Hall 14.
