Sofia Metropolitan Radio renews with AEQ

Sofia Metropolitan Radio

The Radio of the Metropolitan of Sofia in Bulgaria has installed an AEQ Capitol IP audio mixer at the heart of its audio system. The station, known as “Diocesan Voice,” is part of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and offers a religious programming schedule with church music programs, orthodox talks and live masses from the Metropolitan Church of Sveta Nedelya.

The console is an eight-fader digital board with a routing capacity of up to 92 inputs and outputs, and is paired with a Capitol Screen application.

In addition, the station is equipped with an AEQ Netbox 4 MH interface and AEQ Venus 3, Alio and Talent audio codecs as well as an AEQ Studiobox, which works with the console as both a mic-live indicator as well as provide mute, cough, talkback and other functions.

The project was coordinated by Bulgarian Systems Integrator Syntegra Partners, part of SEG (Special Events Group) by SEG CTO Nikolay Kachamakov.
