Sept. 30 is International Podcast Day

Sept. 30 is International Podcast Day. According to the organizers, since the first year of celebration in 2015, the annual event has brought together 350 podcasters from nearly 100 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Poland, Germany, South Africa, Jamaica, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Philippines, India, France, Switzerland, Scotland, UK, Finland, Canada and the United States.

The organizers say the purpose of International Podcast Day is “to connect with fellow podcasters, podcast listeners, podcast enthusiasts, and leaders in the podcasting industry.” They encourage podcasters to promote their craft on social media on Sept. 30 using #InternationalPodcastingDay.
