Salem Media Group has announced two senior promotions as part of its focus on digital growth and internal leadership development.
Linnae Young, who has been with Salem for 27 years, has been promoted to chief revenue officer. She has previously held a range of leadership roles, including leading the sales team at Salem Media Reps, serving as vice president for the company’s West Region radio markets, and most recently working as executive vice president of revenue development and West Markets broadcast operations.
Salem Media CEO Dave Santrella said Young has delivered results across multiple areas of the business. “She has the rare ability to connect vision with execution,” Santrella said. “As we move into a ‘One World’ selling environment, Linnae is exactly the leader we need to unlock new opportunities across all of our platforms and deepen our service to advertisers.”
Unifying digital operations
Jamie Cohen has been appointed chief digital officer, a new role designed to unify Salem’s digital operations. He joined the company seven years ago to launch Salem Surround, the in-house digital marketing agency, and later served as senior vice president of broadcast digital.
Santrella said Cohen had been central to Salem’s digital transformation, growing Salem Surround from a $6 million business to more than $40 million in seven years. “This new role gives him the mandate to break down silos and unify all of Salem’s digital assets under one strategy,” Santrella said.
According to Santrella, the promotions highlight Salem’s commitment to advancing internal talent while positioning the company for growth and innovation.
