Radioline Presents Huawei HiCar App

Radioline presented its new Huawei HiCar radio app at the annual Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) held in Shenzen, China Sept. 10–12.

Participating virtually from France, Radioline COO Xavier Filliol gave a global overview of the project to attendees. He explained that Radioline worked closely with the Huawei HiCar team to create a new “mobile-to-car” radio experience. “Together we crafted a unique UX that provides a simple and smart infotainment application,” he said.

The app’s features include a search engine that gives direct access to stations worldwide; favorites list creation so drivers can “easily” save and find radio programs or podcasts; and custom metadata for users to access additional information like titles, description and album name.

Radioline is a web radio and podcast aggregation service created in 2012. According to the company, the service allows users to listen for free to 90,000 web radios and podcasts from more than 130 countries on all connected devices (computers, phones, tablets, TVs, car radios).
