RadioDNS to host 16th General Assembly

RadioDNS hosts its 16th General Assembly on Feb. 23. It will include presentations from broadcasters and manufacturers implementing RadioDNS standards either individually or through a partnership. Attendees will hear about plans to develop hybrid radio functionality further in 2022.

The General Assembly comes at a time of increased uptake in the RadioDNS standards by broadcasters, manufacturers and service providers. “Anyone can implement our open standards without needing our involvement or agreement,” says Nick Piggott, project director at RadioDNS.

“That means they’re growing in use, both visible and invisible, across a growing number of areas of the radio industry globally. RadioDNS has established itself as a valuable and reliable resource.”

The globally represented not-for-profit encourages the uptake of hybrid radio and has made RadioDNS open source and therefore free to use for broadcasters, manufacturers and service providers.
