The organizers of this year’s Radiodays Europe event in Malmö, Sweden, 15–17 May, are among those celebrating the government’s lifting on April 1 of a ban on all non-EU/EEA travelers to the country.
As part of Sweden’s Covid-19 restrictions, the ban would have limited attendance to the event by citizens of countries outside of the EU/EEA.
The organizers say it’s now possible to travel to Sweden from countries outside the EU/EEA without showing a negative Covid-19 test, a vaccination certificate, or any other type of certificate. There are more details here.
Amongst the speakers at this year’s Radiodays Europe is Mark Cunning, CEO and content director at iRadio, a semi-national music station covering 15 counties across the west, northwest, northeast and midlands of Ireland. Cunning is responsible for strategy, development and future-proofing the iRadio brand. His session is titled ‘The Power of Radio’.
