Radiodays Europe continues plans for its 2022 Malmö event

Good news for those hoping to attend Radiodays Europe 2022 in Malmö: Sweden has lifted all Covid restrictions. Neighbouring Denmark has lifted mandatory wearing of masks. The organizers of the event, scheduled for May 15–17, say they therefore expect a larger audience, but will continue to promote Covid-safe measures in line with the Swedish Government recommendations.

Despite the promising development, the organizers say it will remain a hybrid event (in-person and online) with the option for any of those who buy a ticket to watch online. They also say this year the event will include a focus on audio as well as radio and podcasting.

Cathinka Rondan joins the list of speakers. Rondan is head of radio and podcast at NRK, the Norwegian state broadcaster. NRK offers 13 DAB+ radio channels and a range of podcasts.

Registration is now open for speakers, exhibitors, media and press plus VIPs. If you qualify for any of these categories, you can use the registration code MediaRDEPartner22

The organizers are also inviting suggestions for speakers and speaker topics. If you have an idea, you can submit it here.
